Account Manager

Granter is building an AI agent that handles grants end-to-end. The AI Grant Consultant helps companies discover funding opportunities, draft stronger proposals faster, and manage funded projects after approval. Our mission is to enable businesses of all sizes to leverage incentives to grow and innovate. We are deeply involved in the Portuguese startup ecosystem and were the winners of the Web Summit Pitch Competition 2025.


We are now looking for an Account Manager to ensure that companies using Granter extract real value from our platform. You will work directly with clients, helping them adopt the platform, integrate it into their workflows, and move forward with real funding opportunities. When things get stuck, unclear, or slow, you step in and unblock them.

What This Role Involves

  • You sit with the operations team, acting as point of contact between clients and Granter

  • Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of clients

  • Ensure successful onboarding and adoption of the Granter platform

  • Support clients in integrating Granter into their funding and innovation workflows

  • Monitor client progress and ensure they extract measurable value from the platform

  • Collect feedback from clients and translate it into clear insights for product and operations

  • Help maintain a high standard of client experience and satisfaction


What We Are Looking For


This role is for someone with exceptional communication skills who can handle clients, but more importantly, own outcomes.


We care more about evidence than years, but below is the minimum baseline we believe you need to be effective:


Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in managing clients in a B2B SaaS environment


Additional Plus

  • Enterprise Account Management

  • Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is a strong plus

  • Experience with public funding, grants, or innovation projects


Core Skills

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to stay organized across multiple clients and priorities

  • Good judgment on when to support, push, or escalate

  • Comfortable using generative AI tools (E.g: ChatGPT, Claude)


Communication

  • Able to build trust with different types of stakeholders

  • Ability to explain complex ideas clearly to business stakeholders

  • Fluent in English and Portuguese


Mindset

  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment

  • Proactive and not afraid to follow up, push, or challenge when needed

  • Curious about AI and how it changes how companies work
