Product Operations Analyst

Granter is building an AI agent that handles grants end-to-end. The AI Grant Consultant helps companies discover funding opportunities, draft stronger proposals faster, and manage funded projects after approval. Our mission is to enable businesses of all sizes to leverage incentives to grow and innovate. We are deeply involved in the Portuguese startup ecosystem and were the winners of the Web Summit Pitch Competition 2025.

We are now looking for a Product Operations Analyst.

This role sits at the intersection of product, data, and AI systems.

You will be responsible for operating and improving the intelligence layer behind the platform. In practice, that means structuring funding data, ensuring quality and reliability, and helping build the systems that allow Granter to scale across markets.

This role is a good fit for someone who takes pride in contributing to a product that works well, pays attention to detail, and brings structure to complex information.

What This Role Involves

• You sit with the operations team, acting as point of contact between clients and Granter

• Maintain and improve Granter’s database of funding opportunities

• Ensure data quality and consistency across the system

• Support the operational side of the platform, making sure things run correctly end-to-end

• Collaborate with product and engineering to improve automations and internal efficiency

• Support the evaluation of AI systems by reviewing outputs and identifying failure patterns

• Help build scalable processes that allow Granter to expand into new markets

What We Are Looking For

This role is for someone analytical, structured, and comfortable working close to both data and product.

We care more about evidence than years, but below is the minimum baseline we believe you need to be effective:

Experience

• 1–4 years of experience in Product Operations, Data, Analytics, or similar roles

  
  

Additional Plus

• Any experience in a fast-paced startup environment is a strong plus

• Knowledge about public funding, grants, or innovation projects

  
  

Core Skills

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

• Ability to identify where something breaks, why it breaks, and how to communicate it clearly

• Comfortable using generative AI tools (E.g: ChatGPT, Claude)

  
  

Communication

• Fluent in English and Portuguese

• Able to document issues clearly and make them easy to act on

  
  

Mindset

• High standards and a strong sense of ownership
