We are now looking for a Senior QA Engineer to own quality across our product.
You will be responsible for quality across the product. That means understanding how the system works end-to-end, validating new features, identifying risks early, and building the systems that ensure quality over time.
You will start hands-on. The goal is to progressively automate the parts that matter most.
Quality engineering is being reinvented by AI, from how tests are written to how failures are understood. This role has real space to explore new approaches to testing, such as evaluations (e.g. LLM-as-a-Judge). Prior AI experience isn't required, but curiosity and a willingness to learn are.
What This Role Involves
You sit with the product team and are responsible for quality across the platform
You work closely with engineering and product, understanding both the technical and customer perspective
You identify bugs, inconsistencies, and edge cases early, before they reach users
Define what should be tested, how, and at what level (manual, automated, or both)
Build and evolve automated tests for high-value and repetitive workflows
Build automated evaluations for AI features where relevant
Proactively review product behavior to detect recurring risks and improve overall reliability
What We Are Looking For
We care more about evidence than years, but this role requires senior, hands-on experience working on real products.
Experience
4+ years of experience in QA, Quality Engineering, or a similar role
Proven track record building and maintaining automated test suites on real products
Core Skills
Experience writing and maintaining automated tests
Hands-on experience with tools like Cypress, Playwright, pytest, Postman, or similar
Comfortable scripting in Python
Comfortable debugging issues across frontend, backend, and APIs
Solid understanding of CI/CD and how testing fits into it
Ability to identify where something breaks, why it breaks, and how to communicate it clearly
Additional Plus
Experience working in a startup environment
Familiarity with LLM-based features or AI systems
Exposure to AI tools in testing or DevOps
Exposure to evaluation frameworks (e.g. structured evals, LLM-as-a-Judge)
Communication
Clear and direct communicator
Able to document issues clearly and make them easy to act on
Fluent in English and Portuguese
Mindset
High standards and a strong sense of ownership
Strong structured thinking and problem solving
Perseverance to go deep and do the work required to get things right
Curiosity about how AI systems work
